Pat brant has been a glass eel fisherman since 78. Originally recruited into the trade by a chinese sailor who was selling to them. She and her family thought it was worth a try, even though they'd never done it before. They got some advice from two guys in nearby yarmouth about what nets to use. And we fished. There was no one else in the state for many, many years but my father. So actually, i had hairdresser and i owned hair salons. Every hair ressor i ever had work for me was also an eel fisherman.
Where eels come from is a surprisingly difficult question to answer, in large part because scientists have never actually seen them reproduce in the wild. Gastropod explains why eels are somehow still so mysterious.
