The Lord's Prayer, by Peter Lightheart
There are ai ties between jesus, as he's portrayed in matthew and moses in the law. The lord's prayer has poetic elements that, once again, seem to be designed for memorization and repetition. We also notice things that book end the entire narrative. Jesus is the king of the jews and the son of god at both ends of the book. Angels and women present. Joseph and mary's at both ends. New tomb, a virgin's womb, dreams and warnings. All these themes are playing out in the story of christ. Christ holds israel within himself. And will also see the way that these beatitudes mirror the woes that we find later
