The Challenges of Trials

One of the challenges triallists have, especially with covid and conducting ongoing ranamized trials after highly publicized results are available is that it makes it very difficult to enroll patients. In particular, i'll point out to rem desiver, which you may or may not be discussing on some other podcast, but there is a fair amount of uncertainty where the benefit is in that drug. I think everybody in medicine has a responsibility to understand the scientific concepts a little bit better so we can do our job and communicate those to the general public. This is on all of us.
