Is There a Local Committee in Your Hospital?

When I first started getting involved with the Society of Critical Care Medicine, it was kind of hard. There's a local committee in your hospital where they really need you to do stuff, but it's certainly less glamorous. The people who are sitting on committees are doing it for one of a few reasons. They just want to say that they have done it. Another is because they really want to create change in the world. And the third is to like fix things. Like there's problems they want to address them.
