The question is, what do I do with this remainder amount if I want to have a 5050 core equity core bond portfolio? He says there are two basic pathways to go here; one is using the interest, but reinvesting it back into bonds and equities. Another pathway is to build a income floor of CDs or individual bonds that will mature one through five years.
