It's been amazing to watch just the growth of that ecosystem in such a short amount of time. The really innovative thing about Ordinals is that all of the data is on-chain. It's actually much more inexpensive than having a smart contract, which you know is important for a chain like Bitcoin where it is very expensive. You can also build new kinds of applications, new kinds of web-3 applications, that are also different from how Ethereum applications are structured.
