Introduction

This is Jocko podcast number four with Echo Charles and me Jocko Willink. So several years ago I was at the UFC and I've been to a lot of UFC's love going to watch them. All of a sudden kind of everyone was sort of captivated by this advertisement that came up on the screen. It was a commercial for a video game called Gears of War but it wasn't just any ad, it was a poem written by a real poet who was a warrior.
