How much of the success of some of the larger firms or other successful firms is now to luck just being just the right time, right place type things? How much is skill? Yeah, that's a really great question. And I grappled with this, especially at the beginning of my research and I almost didn't write the book because if I had been convinced that it's purely luck, there would have been no book to write. There's actually a real stuff happening under the surface which can look on the surface to be serendipitous and lucky when you understand the dynamics underneath.
