The Importance of Respect in Foster Care
The children spent quite a long time in care and their case was contested. They developed a voice they were able to talk and express their own views. Developed fractious relationship with parent that was extremely fractious but at the same time there was an element of respect and an element of exchange. The children received intensive psychosocial support from a leading psychological organization over time. Over the years we have seen those children return to school participate in full-time schooling express you know interest in further education one of them went round on a trip to a leading UK university and is currently thinking about applying for attending one of those universities.
