Katie: It's really easy to talk about how society is, because you can look at society as it being a single thing. But what I have just really had to focus in my understanding of the world is there's really only ever the person across from me. So even if society became more and more sedentary over time, it doesn't say anything about the people who aren't. They don't belong to that particular group. And they're like, but I'm so much more mobile. That lets me know that society isn't a particular way.
