Is That What Liz Truss Was Trying to Do?
Liz Truss fought in a pretty decent election contest within her own party against Rashid Sunabh Ganshi became prime minister. So what was she trying to do? I mean, what's she trying to take radical measures which would bring the British economy out of trouble? She cut taxes but it was desperately naive and she cut the taxes in a very peculiar way. And that also spooked the market because they thought, wow, these figures don't add up.
