St. Thomas seamlessly transitions from talking about sacroductrena to talking about sacroscriptura without indicating that he means anything different by the two, even though to us that's sort of jarring. Maybe this is just, you could say this is true of all the inspired authors, that certainly of a New Testament authors, that they're sort of theologians, par excellence. They're there to teach us, and what they've written is sacred doctrine in a real way, even as it's a source for sacred doctrine.
