Steve levitt is the guy i write books with, fre economics and super fre conomics. He's a data guy who spent a lot of time figuring out what'll kill you and what won't. So he thinks most of our fear s are vastly overrated. I think it's the survival instinct, for one thing. And in a world of media where we're now bombarded, i think kidnapping is a great example.
