The Bullish Super Cycles for Commodities
commodities are prone to long super cycles, both bullish and bearish. John says that there have been six bullish super cycles for commodities going back to 1791. The last bearish super cycle from 2008 to 2020 brought prices for a broad commodities index down 73%. That helps to explain why the bullish super cycles take so long to play out.
