Many of us don't spend a whole lot of time in this mind wandering state. Try coming up with a situation where you can let your mind wander. Go for a walk outside without music, try something like a jigsaw puzzle or gardening. You might be surprised what comes to you in this state. The good ideas may start to flow and that is a good thing.
