Farmland Is a Critical Area of Our Nation
I grew up in ohio. The town i grope in, columbus, ohio, was affectionately nicknamed columbus. And i watched that farmland get eaten up by suburbs. Now i live in minnesota. I've got 77 acres or so down the hill for me that just went for sale for about one point three, one point four million dollars. It is farm land everywhere around here. Without the production that occurs there, the rest of the country, if not the world, doesn't have food on its table.
