Is There a Divine Imminence?
i think that it's crucial not to get stuck in a dualism of transcendence and imminence. In process, theology, of course, god is both transcendent and imminent. The the transcendence of god is that consequent nature that takes in everything that happens ii in the creation. At any given moment, takes it in and somehow integrates it as its own experience. And that is then beyond what the world inand of itself has become. Through that becoming of the divine, new possibilities are offered in the next moment,. Are offered emminently to the creation, to every creature, calling creatures to transcend their status quo what we have been.
