Platonus and Mysticism

Pagan hagiography is writing about saints in the Christian tradition. Platonus was of course a great mystic by pretty much anyone's definition of mysticism. We cannot interpret these accounts if we do not understand Platonus's very complex and powerful philosophic thought. And this goes for first-hand accounts too.
