Despite Tuck Woodstock, and he mentions this in a few of his other interviews. There's one, there's like a running theme and a bunch of interviews. The quote he gives is, oh man, I have a body and I have to start taking care of it differently. And then Slackbot discovering what it's like to have a body. Like when he eats the meatball subs, the hurts is shattering and enormous.

Several People Are Typing was mostly written pre-pandemic but failed to garner publisher interest until a virus locked us all inside our homes with nothing to turn to but our jobs and our friend-Slacks. It manages to perfectly encapsulate what it feels like to use Slack for anything, with a dash of creepypasta for good measure.
