The Importance of Paying Attention
The only thing that matters when you have money on the line and you are trading prices is to make sure you don't lose all your money. So why do smart people pay attention? Because they're not so smart. Most people have been conditioned to think that what I'm describing today is too simple. It's just like a game, like risk or monopoly, some kind of weird game that little kids can make up. In Bayesian statistics, if something starts to move, follow along. If it keeps moving, following along. Seems simple. It is simple. The hard part is accepting the simplicity because let's face it. These things are all inconsequential.
