Lady Bute's Life and Death

There are a lot of letters, we'll talk about this book later, published in a book of mary's letters that came out after her death. And there's a lot of correspondence with lady bute. In one of the letters to lady bute, she referred to her writing as 'quirky rifling employments' She really did burn that page by page. Maybe it was her form of therapy. If only these had survived, what a int history this would have become.
