There's a mod called the SOS mod for Metal Gear Solid 2 subsistence, specifically the PC version. You can go first person at any moment in this game. They had to make it at least look kind of okay to let the camera be anywhere. So that would be, if you're looking for a more palatable gameplay experience, I definitely recommend it.
