The first story in the anthology is about a future where most people are unemployed, and you can only get a job at antropy mills. The stories have this way of making you think about these technologies in a different sort of way. It just inhabits that space, and then you can move on to the next one. And i've had some conversations with some silicon valley investor types who, like, see this in their terms, like talking about efficiencies.
