What Are the Common Themes of the Book?
The book is eight chapters, and I think that they're nicely linked one and two, three and four, five and six, seven and eight. They're not officially sort of parts of the book if you look at the table of contents, but I think it's fair to treat them that way in terms of talking between us for the audience here. So chapter one is the practice of ornithology, birds hunting in social class in pre-war Japan and the Anglo-American world.
