Is Congress Removing the Authorization Use of Military Force?
The repeal of the AUMF is an important gesture because it's been used as justification for other actions since Iraq. The defeat of ISIS holds in Syria and Iraq, but I don't think it can be ruled out that there are elements that could try to come back and take advantage of weakness. We need to keep our eye on the Black Sea Grant Initiative set to expire this Saturday.
