Governor DeSantis' Opposition to the Bill

Governor DeSantis has taken the position that he's going to submit proactive legislation to stop CBDCs. The purported reason that they need to update all the codes is to cover crypto assets, which didn't exist when the codes were originally put together. To me, proposing a package like this without a clear and intelligent presentation to make sure everybody understands what it is and how it works will set off alarm bells.
