The Origins of MDMA

MDMA was created by a German pharmaceutical company that was trying to develop a blood clotting agent. In 1965, a psychedelic chemist in the Bay Area named Alexander Schulgen re-synthesized MDMA and introduced it to his therapist friend Leo Zef who became its "Johnny Appleseed" It's now known for making people feel so present and euphoric and connected to other people.
