So many people are now focused on democracy, and in a way that I would argue they weren't in 2013. That may have changed some of the calculation for the Supreme Court as well. Some Republican appointees to the court are very concerned about the prospect of people defying Supreme Court orders. Ari Fleischer: If you're not going to try to change the composition of the court, which a lot of Democrats have decided it's not a fight they're going to pick.
