The Great Commission, the Sending Out of Go and Make Disciples
Jesus himself suffered destruction at the hands of the Romans. That Jesus is never going to ask us to do something in our life of discipleship that he hasn't led the way in. And so we have the command of Christ, but we also have his history pushing the Christians out to the ends of the earth as well because Jerusalem is going to be destroyed.
