As long as you're a college kid who's studying to be a lawyer, you can get into a lot of big money games and walk away with a lot of money. The minute you say, i'm a professional poker player, life gets a lot harder. It's pretty easy to earn what you might consider kind of upper middle class. You mat, you make af nice living. But the minute you try to actually build up some money and go somewhere and do something, it's a whole different level of effort and finance.
