How to Avoid Overburdening Your Audience
People tend to overburden their audiences when they're giving them information. We need to think about how do we build up to the information? So pacing is one. Another thing we have to think about again is level of knowledge. And would it be better for me to give a primer and some foundational knowledge to scaffold people so they're more receptive? Could I perhaps tell a story or use an analogy? Are there things I could ask people to do in advance of the communication?"
