The China Central Asia Summit
Leaders from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan traveled to China to meet with Xi Jinping. Trade between China and these countries comes to about $70 billion a year. The US has a format that's kind of similar to engaging with Central Asia. But this was the first China Central Asia Summit ever.
