The Evolution of Humanity

The key to life persisting is that it wins a contest of some kind either against others of its own kind or its environment. If they had got as far as we have and further, obviously, they would have gone through very similar evolution. I feel like humanity, the human race generally, has just been this kind of disgusting moss growing across the planet with pockets of enlightenment amongst the sky. Human beings are a virus. The U.S.A. is just missing humanity right now.
