The Role of Thiazine in Kidney Stone Treatment

In the universe of people that are on thiazine type diuretics, do you think that greater than 97% are on hydrochlorothiazide 25 milligrams a day or less? I just say that it's good for stones. But the vast majority of them, again, I think they're getting it for hypertension. A trial of a longer acting thiazide at a higher dose would really be needed to either put the nail in the coffin here and solidify this is what we should do with these patients.
