There was a moment in the film where i thought they were hinting that maybe nevil long bottom was tha was the chosen one all along. I don't agree with that, because there are also people on that ship that are human born like they are. And he is the person that has been foretold to basically change the world. If that change happens, hopefully, as the prophecy is foretold, then the humans can rise up again. It's not like it's a superman's story where itslike you will just do all the good work and we'll all benefit from it. They need to be able to compete on the same level to still survive.
