How to Treat Relapsing Polykondritis
The type one patients for sure need to have an ENT. They develop very often subgloric synosis. If you don't want your patient to have a tracheostomy, then the ENT can help with dilatations and injections. The other thing that these patients need in terms of evaluation is a audiology evaluation. We have been able to capture hearing loss in some of the patients that they didn't realize had hearing loss.
