Flavia: I started these like monthly meetups to have a community speaker so anyone can volunteer to share their work and others can ask them questions. And then last year as you know in person meetings became possible again we had a few gatherings that were in person at the living planet symposium. "It's still really really great to be able to connect and see people face to face because you don't really interact in the same way on social media as you would in person," she says.
