She came unaccompanied at the age of 14 or 15, along with hundreds of thousands of other irish immigrants. The details of her life here become quite thin, but we can almost certainly guess that she did not go to school. She was a graduate ofe einth grade, ya of youth. So yamara was already on the top of this range. It's much more likely as a young teen that she registered at a domestic employment agency as a servant. Its a mater fact, that may have been the only time in her life that the city treated her.
