The Four Main Islands of Hawaii

The state of Hawaii actually includes several islands, the Hawaiian Islands. There are four main ones, four main islands where a decent number of people live. The official name of the big island is Hawaii. But it's confusing because if you say Hawaii, nobody knows. Are you talking about the big island? Are you talking to the state or all of the islands?
