The Iran nuclear agreement or JCPOA placed significant restrictions on Iran's nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief. In 2018, President Trump withdrew the United States from the deal and soon after Iran began ignoring limitations on its nuclear program. The question is can we move forward and try to find an opportunity to renegotiate something that would again prevent Iran from having their weapons? "I think it should be something that remains a focal point in US form policy," she says.
