Torett

A lot of the book is about looking that sort of thing in the eye. Torett stands out as very different before any of these horrible events happen but I would call her incredibly self-confident. The only thing I really wanted and I don't know if I succeeded or not is to not have a clean cut character. To me I thought of her despite some of the decisions she makes throughout the entire storyI looked at her as a positive angle for a reader to take away and say it's okay to be different.
