Argentina's relationship with beef dates back at least to the 18th century. Beef most people buy in Argentina comes from supermarkets, but mainly from butchers all over the country. The beef sold by Nucho goes through a long supply chain that begins in the countryside. In this market, there were 35 butchers, and now there are seven.
