The Importance of Meta Programming

I think meta programming is an essential piece of any, any useful large scale programming language. And hopefully we do it well. So what we've seen from Rust and Kotlin is this huge value in multi platform. Cross platform to me is taking some, some piece of code and taking your runtime with it that can run on multiple platforms.
