I promised my mother I would never write the book until she passed away. She did not want to be alive when that happened. And so when she passed away in 2017, I waited a few years and then I finally decided to do it. So this book is also like, it's also therapeutic for you. getting some stuff off your chest. As someone who has had dad issues in a way I would say. It's just a story that directly involves her that had an indirect effect on me.
