The Victory's Already Won

Paul says he'd prefer not to be in jail, but whatever the Lord's will is for him and for the sake of the gospel then that's what he wants. He says almost that exact same thing about whether or not he'll actually die back in chapter one. And so this is why Paul takes us back to the resurrection. This answers any question that you might have because the victory's already won. It's just my conforming myself to Christ on the cross.
