The role of the board is really about governing the organization. It's making sure that it has the processes, approaches that are fair in making sure the business is governed well. So to the question I gave on the M&A, are we delivering ultimately shareholder value? And my honest view is board the younger people, more diverse people in every sense of the word. You've got to bring that diversity in. There's also many organisations in the world from charities, not for profit startups, all need to form boards to help them make better decisions.

- What advice would you give to boards that aren't looking at OKRs right now? Why should they use them? “It's an old saying, but I always go to what gets measured gets done or what gets measured gets managed.” It’s critically important to establish a goal (doesn’t have to be comprehensive) and put some OKRs under it.
- What’s top of mind for you these days? Tough times economically on the horizon and what that will mean for priorities such as diversity and green initiatives.
