The Effect of Sparks and Plasma on Grapes
Alex from Kondo asks about the effect of sparks and plasma in a microwave. Gemma explains that it's to do with the wavelength of microwave radiation in a microwave, as well as the composition of grapes. And if you cut a grape very carefully in half without keeping the skinning in contact with each of the halves, you can get some sparks and plasma going. Alex: I don't know whether this should come with a safety warning. But any young listeners out there probably ask my mom and dad before you try it.
