The Politics of Healthcare

I don't think that politicians over the past decades have served us well in the way that they've approached the Medicare issue. I had a very minor operation under a deal between the public system and the private system. It got me out of the way of people who had serious problems that needed to be dealt with in a hospital. As a patient, I got the care I needed on a timely basis. So, it's good that politicians are engaged on this issue,. but I know that in most provinces, the health ministers are struggling to find new ways to do things.
