What Is the Problem With the Hash?

Apple is extending its eye cloud service to include photos. Photos can be searched using a hash, rather than an actual copy of the image. Apple will alert parents if they see images that are inappropriate for children. The alarm level has been dialed back from eight to three in some cases.
