Eric Liu: Mindfulness is a process that all of us can work on. It's an aspect of your brain and like any of your mental health or cognitive functions. We have to do that to get things done, right? I can't do a math equation and think about what I should get my kids for Christmas and focus on my patient, write the prescriptions and do my list and be myself. So mindfulness is more than just some hydration and a little nutrition, but it's something that can draw and focus my attention.
